Absolute is proud to welcome the newest member of our team, Johnny Crosskey! Here’s a quick glimpse at our newest addition and what he brings to the team.

Hometown: Tampa, FL.

Education: Rollins College (Winter Park, FL, BA/English); Simmons College (Boston, MA, MS/Communications Management)

Position: Content Marketing Manager

Why write content?
I started writing in high school as part of an assignment for an English class. Much to my surprise, the words poured out of me. I’ve always known that I wanted writing to be a part of my life in some way, but I held on to a parentally-guided dream of being a medical doctor. After years of receiving high marks in writing, a light-bulb went off and I decided to make this my life’s work. Why marketing? I love the art of persuasion. I love winning people over. I love utilizing a variety of tools to help a business or a non-profit reach its goals.

Tell us about a hobby (or two).

I love food! Primarily, the kind that’s not cooked by me. I go to as many restaurants as possible because I love the experience. I’m also a sports fanatic. My dream is to go to every major sporting event in the world. Yep, that’s the Super Bowl, Final Four, Cricket World Cup, all of them. I also have a passion for sports radio. I have had radio shows in the past and would love to be on the radio again.

What is one thing you’ve always wanted to do (but haven’t yet)?

Take a cross country road trip!
