GoDaddy announces it will shut down Cloud Servers; will no longer offer the service after December 31st, 2017

Do you currently have an app, database, or web service hosted by GoDaddy’s Cloud Servers service? The uber-popular domain registrar and hosting company has revealed it will no longer offer Cloud Servers and the service and will be discontinued at the end of the year. If you don’t transfer to another service provider by that time, all of that data will be gone… forever!

That means you need to switch to another service provider that can support the needs of your application, and you need a digital partner with the expertise to make the transfer safely and efficiently.

At Absolute, we take every precaution in hosting account transfers to make sure no data is lost. We have over 15 years’ experience working with web-based technologies, and can facilitate a transfer from GoDaddy to Amazon AWS, or to Rackspace, or to any other service provider. If you want to remain with GoDaddy, you’ll need to switch to another service, but it won’t be cloud-based.

Do you know how to set up an EC2 instance to replace your GoDaddy server? Probably not. But we do.

Protect your company, your users, and your business. Contact the development specialists at Absolute Marketing Solutions to get started on transferring your data to another provider today!
