Amy Fabian, an inbound marketing specialist, has reached the milestone of one year with us here at Absolute Marketing Solutions. You may remember her new employee announcement we posted last April.
We checked in with Amy to learn about her experiences with Absolute over the past year.
What has it been like working at Absolute?
I’m constantly learning so I can keep up with market growth and changes. It has also been interesting since I work with different team members, not just those in marketing and sales. Chats with Absolute’s developers and designers has become a part of my regular routine.
What have you liked the most?
With Absolute I’ve traveled throughout Florida for meetings and industry conferences. The team and our clients have given me the chance to work with people from all over the world. Besides the work, I’ve also had the opportunity to explore the business community here in central Florida. Absolute is involved with a number of local groups like Tampa Bay WaVE and the Tampa Bay Technology Forum. Thanks to Absolute I know much more about what Tampa does for its local businesses.
Anything really stick out in your mind about the past year?
We have so much fun at Absolute. This is the second year I’ll be taking part in a golf tournament on a company team. We did a fun ’80’s skate party and there’s just tons of random celebrations that happen in the office.
Has it been a good first year for you at Absolute? What are your plans for the next year?
Definitely. I’ve enjoyed this first year with Absolute. Over the past year I’ve learned more on digital marketing, mastering different tools used to help our clients rank well in search engines and drive conversions on their website. Currently I’m doing a lot more with A/B and multi-variant testing to see if there is any effect on page rankings. I’ve been making use of Google Analytics and other SEO tools to test adjustments in page ranks and traffic. My next year will be spent refining those skills and exploring new tools to gauge their effectiveness for our clients.
