Absolute Marketing Solutions president Alfred Goldberg was recently invited to attend the Tampa General Hospital White Coat Internship. Goldberg was issued a TGH White Coat and spent the day shadowing doctors and surgeons around the hospital.
Goldberg had the unique opportunity to witness an open heart surgery first hand. In his own words, “this was an amazing experience. The operation took over four hours. Yet the skill and dedication of the surgeon and his entire staff was nothing short of awesome.”
He then spent the rest of the day following TGH Chief of Cardiology, Dr. John Sullebarger, as he performed several different procedures. Goldberg said it was an “interesting experience being part of a regular day for a completely different career path and then compare it to my usual day.”
Just three times a year a special group of business, community leaders and donors gets to experience this one-of-a-kind opportunity to be part of the daily realities of the hospital and a physician’s practice. The event is by invitation only and offers a glimpse into what health care givers deal with on a day to day basis.
Absolute Marketing Solutions has produced mobile solutions within the health care industry for USF Health and the Florida-Caribbean Aids Education Training Center.
