Event Equips Veterans and Active Duty Personnel with the tools to be successful in business.
TAMPA, FL. (November 14 2014) – Absolute Marketing Solutions president Alfred Goldberg will be part of a group of business leaders who will be speaking at the Veterans Entrepreneurship Training Symposium on Saturday, November 15 at Hillsborough Community College-Brandon Campus. The Veterans Entrepreneurship Symposium features presentations from local business experts on a number of topics, including marketing, business formation, raising capital and creating business plans. The event is free for veterans, active duty personnel and their spouses and is designed to provide them with tools and advice that they can use when starting a business.
Goldberg will discuss how to leverage digital technologies on a start-up budget. As part of his presentation, he will give tips on how to use websites, social media and blogging to attract an audience to your product or service, excel at customer service and inform the design of your product.
“My father was a veteran of World War II and I have many friends that are in the armed forces so I always enjoy opportunities to give back to those who’ve sacrificed so much,” said Goldberg. “Our country faces the challenge of recognizing the value of the skills that our service members have developed while serving our country and applying them in civilian life.”
“We’d like to thank Alfred for taking the time to be a part of the Veterans Entrepreneurship Symposium,” said Andy Gold, event director. “His willingness to share his expertise with the veterans and active duty personnel in attendance will be instrumental in making this a successful event and helping veterans launch new enterprises.”
