Absolute receives this prestigious honor for their work on the Florida Holocaust Museum Website Redesign
TAMPA, FL. (May 1, 2015) – Absolute Marketing Solutions, a Tampa digital marketing agency that specializes in responsive website design and mobile applications, is proud to announce that they have been recognized with a Communicator Award for Excellence in Web Design from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. The Excellence in Web Design Award is the top award given in this category. More than 6,000 entries were submitted this year for the Communicator Awards from large and small firms, both nationally and internationally. This year’s winners represent an elite group of firms, agencies and companies whose transcendent work raises the bar for others in the industry. Absolute was honored for their work on the Florida Holocaust Museum’s website redesign.
The award-winning website (www.flholocaustmuseum.org) features an engaging design with specific emphasis on making the museum’s offerings easily accessible. Along with information about the museum’s exhibits and events, the new website also serves as one of the most comprehensive resources for those wanting to learn about the Holocaust as well as other acts of human injustice. Education is a key part of the Florida Holocaust Museum’s mission and the website fulfills it with enhanced registration systems for group tours and their educational trunk program.
“It’s always an honor when our team can be recognized for their hard work. Given the important nature of this project, the Florida Holocaust Museum’s mission and the fact that the recognition came from a great organization like the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, it makes it all the more meaningful,” said Alfred Goldberg, president of Absolute Marketing Solutions.
The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), a 600+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Current IAVA membership represents a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms including: AirType Studio, Condè Nast, Disney, Keller Crescent, Lockheed Martin, Monster.com, MTV, rabble+rouser, Time Inc., Tribal DDB, Yahoo!, and many others.
“The work entered in the 21st Annual Communicator Awards serves as a true testament to the innovative ideas and capabilities of communications and marketing professionals around the world. Each year, our entrants continue to amaze by reinventing the ways we communicate and market in an ever-changing industry,” said Linda Day, executive director of the Academy Interactive and Visual Arts.
