TAMPA, FL. (November 2, 2022) – Community business leader and entrepreneur Alfred Goldberg will be a key speaker at the 10th Annual Veteran’s Entrepreneurship Training Symposium (VETS) hosted by the Hillsborough Community College-Dale Mabry campus as part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation program. Goldberg will be mentoring participants on a variety of business strategies. In a fun-filled day of learning, networking, and empowerment, attendees will learn how to overcome challenges, leverage opportunities, and more. The event takes place Saturday, November, 5th from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

The event, currently in its tenth year, is free and open to all veterans, active duty service members, and their spouses. The symposium concludes with a Business Pitch Competition, where participants pitch their business concepts for $12,000.00 in cash prizes. Entrants’ pitches will be judged based on their uniqueness, feasibility, and ability to impact people and society.
