National Wine Day

We have all experienced the frustrations of being stuck in a creative bind when working on a project. Sometimes I find myself dedicating hours of hard work to brainstorming, researching, and editing, but when it comes time to create, I am stuck staring at a blank screen. Rather than letting the situation stress you out, try taking a break and fueling your creative juices — with a glass of wine! This suggestion does not mean that we recommend that you sneak a bottle of wine into your office every day, but the occasional glass of wine can help stimulate new thoughts.  

But you do not have to take our word for it; a study done by the Institute of Psychology at Austria’s Graz University discovered that consuming a controlled amount of alcohol distracts you from the central task and allows your unconscious mind to locate innovative solutions.  

Lucky for us, we have access to wine experts right here in Tampa. The Absolute Marketing Solutions team recently collaborated with Pardo Wine Grapes to design and develop an updated website for their home winemaking supply company. The main goal of this project was to capture the essence of the Pardo family tradition, streamline their unique ordering process, and make it easier for winemakers of all skill levels to find their products.   

The Pardo family winemaking dates back seventy years when Vince Pardo’s uncle, Tony Diecidue, started creating wine from his home in Ybor City. The website we developed for Pardo Wine Grapes offers an easy-to-use ordering system for new and old customers alike. The website also taps into the rich winemaking tradition of the Pardo family through its’ use of vintage photographs, color selection, and storytelling.
