How Absolute Marketing Solutions and ZZ Pizzas Introduced New Flavors of Pizza to the Web
ZZ Pizzas is a pizzeria with a difference. They don't just make your standard pepperoni and cheese pizzas - they create unique pizza creations that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. But until recently, their website wasn't doing them justice. It was dated and hard to navigate, and it didn't give customers a true sense of what ZZ Pizzas is all about. That's where Absolute Marketing Solutions comes in. We built them a new website that's modern and user-friendly, highlighting their pizzas' creativity. Now when customers visit the website, they can see exactly what ZZ Pizzas has to offer - and we're sure they'll be back for more.
The Concept
We Start Analog
By starting with pencils and paper, we were able to quickly iterate through ideas and get everyone on the same page.
When it comes to website design, we like to start things off the old-fashioned way - with a pencil and paper! Working with the ZZ Pizzas team, we sketched out some initial ideas for their website. This helps to confirm our ideas and gives the ZZ Pizzas team the first visuals of what their website will look like. Plus, it's just more fun to doodle pizza pictures than stare at a blank computer screen! Once we had a general idea of the website layout, we got to work on the details.
The Design
At Absolute Marketing Solutions, we believe that when it comes to design, simple is always better. That's why the designs for the ZZ PIzzas website were based on the simple look and feel of their brand, with a focus on their delicious pizzas. We want their customers to be able to find what they're looking for quickly and easily, without being distracted by fancy designs or complicated navigation. And we think that's exactly what our design delivers.
It's All About the Pizza!
Since ZZ Pizza's key differentiator is the unique pizza creations they bring to life, we ensured that the website design showcased these creations without any distractions. In fact, the first thing you see when landing on their website are slices of some of their most popular creations. Other important information such as hours of operation, the full menu, and the ability to order are also prominently displayed above in the header.
The Technology
Responsive web design is a type of web design that makes websites look good on all devices. Responsive web design will ensure your website looks great regardless of whether someone is looking at it on their phone, tablet, or computer. This is why we used responsive web design to create the ZZ Pizzas website. We wanted to ensure that everyone visiting the site has a great experience, no matter which device they use.
Small or Large Screens
Mobile users have less screen real-estate for you to use, yet they need to complete the same actions as desktop users. Activities such as ordering pizza, viewing the menu, and contacting the restaurant had to be optimized for the mobile experience.
