The new website allows for an enhanced user experience and conveniently connects visitors with the information they need to plan their trips to the zoo.
ZooTampa, formerly Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo, celebrated their 30th anniversary with a new name and a new brand identity. It was important to select an agency able to work with new design elements and meet the brand launch deadline. After a wide search, ZooTampa selected digital partner, Absolute Marketing Solutions, to develop a new website to streamline customer experience and showcase the Zoo’s new brand.
A major goal of the new website is to elegantly represent the new brand and efficiently connect potential zoo visitors and donors to their desired information and functionality. The new website features a fresh, responsive design and offers users the ability to easily plan their trip, book an event, purchase tickets and make donations to further the zoo’s conservation programs.
“One of the primary challenges for the redesign was re-conceptualizing the information architecture,” says Alfred Goldberg, President of Absolute Marketing Solutions. “The Zoo has a large amount of content. We had to organize everything based on actual user needs and strike a balance between the different audiences the zoo’s website has.”
