Tampa Digital Agency Wins Silver Award for Design Excellence
TAMPA, FL. (December 15, 2016) – Absolute Marketing Solutions wins a Silver Davey Award for redeveloping and redesigning the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) website, launched in September of this year.
“One of the biggest challenges was restructuring how the information was laid out,” says Alfred Goldberg, President of Absolute Marketing Solutions. “MOSI is a community landmark that offers so many programs, venues for special events, and more. So much of that information was buried and difficult to access on the old website. It was a pleasure to redesign the website to allow museum visitors to take advantage of all the great programs MOSI has to offer.”
“When you’re a science and technology center like MOSI, you need an online presence that’s modern and compelling – but it still has to be usable and approachable for every kind of guest,” said MOSI President & CEO Molly Demeulenaere. “By teaming up with Absolute Marketing Solutions, we were able to go behind the scenes and break down what our visitors were really looking for. Then we used that knowledge to build the site in fresh ways to get potential guests more excited, more quickly, about becoming customers and visiting MOSI.”
The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), a 700+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
MOSI is a non-profit committed to furthering curiosity about the history and future developments in science and technology through exhibits, programs, events and science camps. Through Absolute’s 1:1 Match Program, Absolute matched 50% of the development costs for the web design project.
